Apple gets told to pay EUR 13bln in settlement of illegal tax benefits

The widely mooted ruling from the EU regulators is now official 30 Aug 2016
– EU anti-trust regulators order Ireland to recover up to €13bln
– EU regulators say Apple’s Irish tax deal means its effective corp tax rate on European profits ranged from 0.0005%-1.0%
Previous clawbacks from large companies inc Starbucks and Fiat in 2015, and AB Inbev, Atlas Copco, BP and 32 others this year.
