FXStreet (Córdoba) – AUD/USD pulled back from 1-month highs and turned negative for the day with US data adding to greenback strength at the beginning of the New York session.
The US dollar dragged AUD/USD to fresh daily lows around 0.7235 following the release of better than expected US durable goods orders and jobless claims, and no so impressive personal income and spending figures.
AUD/USD technical levels
At time of writing, the pair is trading at 0.7243, down 0.14% on the day. As for technical levels, AUD/USD could find next supports at 0.7205 (100-day SMA), 0.7184 (Nov 24 low) and 0.7158 (Nov 23 low). On the other hand, resistances are seen at 0.7282 (Nov 25 high), 0.7295 (Oct 23 high) and 0.7337 (Oct 16 high).
