FXStreet (Córdoba) – AUD/USD has continued to move lower on Wednesday, extending losses to fresh 1-month lows as the greenback continues to benefit from upbeat US data and Fed’s rhetoric.

AUD/USD has lost nearly 80 pips from daily highs and slipped below the 0.77 mark to score its lowest level since Apr 21 at 0.7690. However, the Aussie managed to recover some ground and it was last trading at 0.7707, recording a 0.29% loss on the day.

AUD/USD has fallen about five figures over the last 2 weeks, as the greenback resumed its broader upward move supported by better US data and expectations the Fed will hike rates sooner.
