The Australian dollar strengthened against the U.S. dollar in the Asian session on Wednesday.
Against the greenback, the aussie rose to a 5-day high of 0.7350 from yesterday’s closing value of 0.7335.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around the 0.74 area.
