Rigs keep rising but inventories keep falling
The weekly rig count from Baker Hughes is due up at the top of the hour. The prior reading was 553.
The last two weeks were +11 and +4. A rise of +10 or more this week would signal to me that drillers are flexible in how quickly they can respond to higher prices.
