Belgium’s economy grew at the weakest pace in five quarters during the three months to September, preliminary estimates from the National Bank of Belgium showed Friday.

Gross domestic product grew 0.2 percent from the second quarter, when the economy expanded 0.5 percent, revised from 0.4 percent. First quarter growth was revised down to 0.3 percent from 0.4 percent.

Latest growth was the weakest since the second quarter of 2014, when GDP rose at a similar pace.

Year-on-year, GDP increased 1.3 percent annually following 1.5 percent expansion in the previous quarter, which was revised up from 1.3 percent.
