Belgium’s economy grew at the previously estimated pace in the fourth quarter, latest data from the central bank confirmed Monday.
Gross domestic product grew 0.3 percent from the second quarter, when the economy expanded 0.2 percent. Thus, the preliminary estimate was left unchanged.
Year-on-year, GDP increased 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter, which was slightly faster than the 1.3 percent estimated initially. In the third quarter, the economy grew 1.3 percent.
In the year 2015, the Belgian economy grew 1.4 percent, unrevised from the previous estimate. In 2014, growth was 1.3 percent.
