Hollywood star Brad Pitt took time away from his family and wife Angelina Jolie to film his upcoming Netflix film War Machine in Abu Dhabi. Pitt has been seen leaving the set in a residential street in the capital. No news yet on whether Jolie and their children will be joining him. Based on the book The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan by Michael Hastings, War Machine is a movie that takes a satirical spin on America’s war with Afghanistan, focusing on the people running the campaign.
Another Hollywood couple confirmed to be enjoying Dubai is Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Dubai seems to be a popular destination for the Smith family with the celebrity couple’s children, Jaden and Willow visiting Dubai for an appearance during the Dubai Summer Surprises in August.
Fans of the Men in Black star were excited to see that he’d posted a selfie of his date night with Pinkett Smith standing in front of the Burj Al Arab. Smith is likely taking a break from his busy schedules to enjoy what Dubai has to offer. Smith has been busy in the studio ever since he announced a return to music and planning a tour with old time collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff – who will headline a Halloween party at Barasti Beach on October 31 – for the Summer of 2016 as well as gearing up for the release of his much anticipated movie the Suicide Squad next year.
