The Canadian dollar strengthened against most major currencies in the Asian session on Thursday.

The Canadian dollar rose to a 3-day high of 1.5029 against the euro and a 2-day high of 90.62 against the yen, from yesterday’s closing quotes of 1.5035 and 90.20, respectively.

Against the U.S. dollar, the loonie edged up to 1.3271 from yesterday’s closing value of 1.3291.

If the loonie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.46 against the euro, 93.00 against the yen and 1.31 against the greenback.
