The Canadian dollar weakened against the other major currencies in the late Asian session on Friday.
The Canadian dollar fell to 1.3311 against the U.S. dollar, 92.06 against the yen and 1.4124 against the euro, from yesterday’s closing quotes of 1.3289, 92.17 and 1.4101, respectively.
Against the Australian dollar, the loonie dropped to 0.9623 from an early 1-week high of 0.9587.
If the loonie extends downtrend, it is likely to find support around 1.35 against the greenback, 91.00 against the yen, 1.44 against the euro and 0.97 against the aussie.
