Well, FWIW, I reckon if the BOJ manage to weaken the yen with tomorrow’s announcement of something dramatic (I reckon they won’t … but lets say they do) then the pressure will come back on China to weaken the yuan. The yuan has fallen this year, a lot of that is due to yen strength, which is China is not too unhappy about at all.
