The Cypriot unemployment rate declined in the fourth quarter, the labor force survey from the Statistical Service showed Monday.
The jobless rate came in at 12.8 percent in the fourth quarter, down from 14.8 percent in the previous quarter. In the same period of last year, the rate was 16 percent.
Similarly, the jobless rate among youth aged 15-24 fell to 29.5 percent from 32.3 percent a quarter ago.
For the whole year of 2015, the unemployment rate was 15 percent compared to 16.1 percent in 2014.
