Denmark’s unemployment rate held steady for the second straight month in December, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Thursday.

Th seasonally adjusted jobless rate came in at 4.5 percent in December, the same rate as in the previous two months.

The number of unemployed people increased slightly to 119,900 at the end of the year from 119,800 in November.

The youth unemployment rate, which applies to the 15 to 24 age group also remained unchanged for the second consecutive month in December at 4.3 percent.
