After the release of the final estimate of second quarter U.S. GDP at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback climbed against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.1133 against the euro, 1.5159 against the pound, 121.17 against the yen and 0.9816 against the franc around 8:31 am ET.
