Following the release of S&P/Case-Shiller house price index for July at 9:00 am ET Tuesday, the greenback traded mixed against its key counterparts.. While the greenback advanced against the pound, it changed little against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was worth 1.1206 against the euro, 0.9727 against the franc, 119.98 against the yen and 1.5141 against the pound around 9:04 am ET.
