The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended March 28 and trade data for February are due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of these reports, the greenback showed mixed trading against its major opponents. While the greenback fell against the franc, it held steady against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was quoted at 1.0834 against the euro, 0.9604 against the franc, 119.67 against the yen and 1.4811 against the pound at 8:25 am ET.
