At 10:00 am ET Tuesday, the Conference Board has released the results of its consumer confidence survey for September. The greenback rose against the yen, but changed little against the pound, franc and the euro following the data.
The greenback was worth 1.1222 against the euro, 0.9710 against the franc, 119.87 against the yen and 1.5147 against the pound around 10:04 am ET.
