Donald Trump, “America First and I have my own money”
Republican Presidential front-runner Donald Trump said he does not need the support of Charles Koch.
In an interview with Mr. Trump said, “What he says bears no relationship on what I do or say. I don’t need his money. I got my own money,” while also suggesting politicians who take Koch’s donations are “puppets.”
Charles and David Koch are well-known GOP donors, who have donated large amounts of money to conservative causes.
The real estate mogul said benefiting from the Koch brothers support requires a candidate to follow their orders and he is not interested.
Donald Trump said his comments about the Brothers Kochs were nothing personal, “I’ve always liked the Kochs, they’re members of my club in Palm Beach.”
Charles Koch, the CEO of Koch Industries, told ABC News in an interview published Monday, said based on the slate of Republican candidates, “it’s possible” that he would support Hillary Clinton (depending of her actions not her talk).
Donald Trump said that Mr. Koch’s statement suggesting he might support Clinton instead of the GOP nominee “were not very good for the Republican Party and that’s too bad.”
“I’m going to do what’s right for the American people, and he can have his puppets, and they’re all over the place.”
“You have a lot of people that need him, and I do not need him at all,” Donald Trump said. “One of the reasons he wouldn’t like me is because I don’t need him, and I won’t do what he tells me to do, because I couldn’t care less.”

Also on Wednesday Donald Trump delivered a 40 min detailed foreign policy speech, highlighting his views on trade, terrorism, economic freedom, Iran and China.
Mr. Trump articulated a clear vision in which he said he would implement a foreign policy “that replaces randomness with purpose” where “the American people are First.”
“We went from mistakes in Iraq to Egypt to Libya, to President Obama’s line in the sand in Syria. Each of these actions have helped to throw the region into chaos, and gave ISIS the space it needs to grow and prosper,” he said.
Mr. Trump made 5 Key points, the 1st of which was that “US resources are depleted.” He blamed deficits, debt, low growth, and open borders saying America must “regain our financial independence and strength.”
Donald Trump’s populist foreign policy is very popular with Republicans and Democrats who want to see less intervention and more strength.
In his speech Wednesday he talked about the “false song of globalism” but also called out “the failures of NAFTA,” a line that many Blue Collar Democrats and union members agree whole heatedly with.
Left wing critics are calling his policy hawkish isolationism.
