At 6:00 am ET Friday, Eurostat releases flash estimate for Eurozone inflation and unemployment data. Consumer prices are forecast to remain flat on a yearly basis in October after falling 0.1 percent in September. Economists expect the jobless rate to remain unchanged at 11 percent in September.

Ahead of these reports, the euro showed mixed trading against its major rivals.
While the euro rose against the greenback and the pound, it held steady against the franc. Against the yen, the euro declined.

The euro was worth 1.1006 against the greenback, 132.64 against the yen, 1.0867 against the franc and 0.7178 against the pound as of 5:55 am ET.
