The Federal Labor Agency has issued German unemployment data for September at 3:55 am ET Wednesday. Following the data, the euro showed mixed trading against its major rivals. While the euro rose further against the franc, it changed little against the yen, pound and the greenback.
The euro was trading at 1.1226 against the greenback, 134.77 against the yen, 1.0944 against the Swiss franc and 0.7414 against the pound around 3:59 am ET.
