The euro strengthened against the other major currencies in the late Asian session on Friday.
The euro rose to 0.7336 against the pound and 1.0442 against the Swiss franc, from early lows of 0.7324 and 1.0429, respectively.
Against the U.S. dollar and the yen, the euro edged up to 1.0878 and 130.17 from early lows of 1.0863 and 130.00, respectively.
If the euro extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 0.75 against the pound, 1.06 against the Swiss franc, 1.12 against the greenback and 133.70 against the yen.
