The European Commission is set to publish economic and business confidence survey results at 5:00 am ET Wednesday. The economic confidence index is expected to remain unchanged at 103.9 in April. The business climate index is seen at 0.2 versus 0.23 in March.
Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro held steady against the franc, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1007 against the greenback, 131.15 against the yen, 1.0500 against the franc and 0.7153 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
