Quarterly national accounts from the U.K. is due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.45 am ET, the French statistical office Insee is slated to release monthly consumer confidence data. The consumer sentiment index is forecast to rise marginally to 94 in April from 93 in March.

At 3.30 am ET, Statistics Sweden is scheduled to publish producer prices, retail and foreign trade data. Retail sales are forecast to grow 0.2 percent on a monthly basis in March, the same rate as seen in February. The foreign trade surplus is expected to fall to SEK 2 billion in March from SEK 4.6 billion in February.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is set to release first estimate for the March quarter GDP. The U.K. economy is expected to grow 0.5 percent sequentially after expanding 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014.

The U.K. index of services data for February is also due at 4.30. The indicator is forecast to rise 0.7 percent month-on-month, reversing a 0.2 percent fall in January.
