Today’s Fedspeak kicks off
It’s a huge day for the Federal Reserve and it starts in a few minutes when Evans and Lacker appear on a panel.
Evans is a dove and Lacker is a major hawk. Lacker can safely be ignored but if Evans sounds more optimistic and serious about a hike, then it will be a hawkish signal. There will be no pre-published comments but they will trickle out over the next hour or so.
