Hourly wages in Italy remained unchanged for the second straight moth in March, figures from the statistical office Istat showed Thursday.
Hourly contractual wages showed no variations in March, same as in the previous month. In January, wages had risen 0.6 percent.
On an annual basis, wages climbed at a stable pace of 1.0 percent in March. Among the main macro sectors, wages in the private sector grew 1.5 percent, while wages in the pubic sector remained flat.
In the first quarter of this year, hourly wages climbed 1.0 percent as compared to the same period last year.
