Hourly wages in Italy remained flat in December after rising in the previous two months, figures from the statistical office Istat showed Thursday.
Contractual hourly wages showed no variations in December, following a 0.2 percent increase in November.
On a yearly basis, hourly wages grew at a stable pace of 1.3 percent in December.
Among the main macro sectors, wages in the private sector rose 1.8 percent, while wages in the public sector remained unchanged.
In the whole year 2015, the average hourly wages went up 1.1 percent compared with the preceding year.
