As The Hill reports, Pence, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump‘s running mate, attempted to draw a clear contrast between the policies of Trump and those of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Pence said Trump’s tweet about bringing Flowers to the debate was “really mocking the fact that Hillary Clinton was trying to distract attention away from this moment in our national life where the American people are going to see a strong contrast between” both candidates.
