Latvia’s producer prices dropped for the third straight month in March, figures from the Central Statistical Bureau showed Thursday.

The producer price index declined 0.3 percent year-over-year in March, the same rate of decrease as in the previous month. In January, prices had fallen 0.1 percent.

Domestic market producer prices dipped 0.4 percent in March from the previous year and foreign market prices edged down by 0.1 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices fell at stable pace of 0.1 percent in March. It was the second consecutive monthly drop.Prices in the domestic market slipped 0.8 percent, while export market prices grew by 0.6 percent.
