Latvia’s economy remained at a stagnated level in the three months ended December, preliminary figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Friday.

Gross domestic product dropped fractionally by 0.01 percent quarterly in the fourth quarter, following a 0.9 percent rise in the previous quarter.

Annually, GDP advanced at a slower pace of 2.6 percent in the December quarter after a 3.2 percent growth in the previous three-month period.

Likewise, on an unadjusted basis, the economic growth moderated to 3.0 percent in the fourth quarter from 3.3 percent in the previous three months.
