Logicalis US, an international IT solutions and managed services provider (www.us.logicalis.com), has agreed to acquire MCPc’s Advanced Technology Integration Group (ATIG). Ranked No. 72 on CRN’s Solution Provider 500, one of Crain’s Cleveland’s Business Fast 50 and an NEO Success Winner, MCPc is a highly respected Midwest-focused solution provider. MCPc’s ATIG division provides IT and professional services including data center, unified communications, cloud, and infrastructure integration throughout the Midwest and in select East and West coast markets.

Logicalis, which ranked No. 27 on CRN’s Solution Provider 500 and No. 2 on the MSPmentor 501, gains enhanced presence in key Midwestern markets and obtains expanded consulting and professional services competencies focused on data center, enterprise networking, collaboration, integration and professional services offerings. Logicalis will be welcoming ATIG’s sales and technical resources in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Illinois, Georgia, New York and Oregon to its U.S. team.

The acquisition will provide ATIG’s clients with access to Logicalis’ broader solution set as well as Logicalis’ global footprint. Post-acquisition, Logicalis intends to maintain a close relationship with MCPc’s retained end-user services business to enable customers to have access to additional portfolio offerings.

“Logicalis and MCPc saw an opportunity for continued growth in our respective areas of strength as a result of the acquisition,” says Vince DeLuca, president and CEO, Logicalis US. “The acquisition will significantly strengthen Logicalis’ established strengths in data center, collaboration, cloud, and infrastructure, as well as further augment its expertise in the healthcare and SLED vertical solutions where Logicalis already has significant capabilities and proficiencies. At the same time, MCPc will have the opportunity to hone its focus on its retained end-user services and solutions business. We are also looking forward to continuing a relationship with MCPc that will allow both companies to deliver even more value to our respective clients.”

“For MCPc, the sale of our ATIG business means we can invest in growing our areas of core competency while ensuring our existing clients in other solution areas gain from Logicalis’ wider breadth of offerings and international presence,” says Mike Trebilcock, Chairman and CEO of MCPc. “In working with Logicalis leadership, it became really clear that our corporate cultures are very closely aligned, particularly in our commitment to our customers and employees. The culture and geographic alignment will not only provide our clients with a committed partner relationship, but will also offer our dedicated employees opportunities to further advance their knowledge and careers.”
