The Mexican Peso traded at a record low against the U.S. dollar in New York morning deals on Monday.
In economic news, data from Insituto Nacional de Estadistica Y Geografia showed that Mexico’s trade deficit narrowed to US$0.749 billion in June from US$1.017 billion last month.
The Mexican currency depreciated to 16.34 against the greenback, compared to last week’s closing quote of 16.25.
