New Zealand’s money supply growth accelerated in February, after easing slightly in the previous month, figures from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed Tuesday.

M3 money supply climbed 6.6 percent year-over-year to NZ$28.75 billion in February. This follows a 6.2 percent increase in January.

In the same month of the previous year, money supply had risen 6.0 percent.

On a monthly basis, money supply increased at a faster pace of 1.3 percent in February, following a 0.2 percent rise in the preceding month.
