New Zealand’s money supply growth slowed for the fourth successive month in October, figures from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed Monday.

The broad measure of money supply, or M3, climbed 7.7 percent year-over-year to NZ$298.24 billion in October. It was slower than the 8.5 percent hike in September.

In the corresponding month of the previous year, money supply had risen 5.6 percent.

The intermediate money supply, or M2, grew at a slightly faster pace of 16.2 percent annually in October, following a 16.0 percent increase in the preceding month.
