Norway’s retail sales increased at a faster-than-expected pace in November, though at a slower pace than in the previous month. Figures from Statistics Norway showed Wednesday.
Retail sales volume, excluding motor vehicles grew a seasonally adjusted 0.6 percent month-on-month in November, exceeding economists’ expectations for a 0.2 percent spike. In October, sales had risen 0.9 percent.
On a yearly basis, retail sales volume expanded a working-day-adjusted 0.9 percent in November.
In the three months ended November, retail sales volume advanced 0.3 percent compared with the corresponding period last year.
