The New Zealand dollar rose further against the other major currencies in the pre-European session on Friday.

The NZ dollar rose to nearly a 6-month high of 1.0521 against the Australian dollar and a 2-day high of 0.6757 against the U.S. dollar, from early lows of 1.0582 and 0.6686, respectively.

Against the yen and the euro, the kiwi advanced to 3-day highs of 81.79 and 1.6248 from early lows of 80.93 and 1.6419, respectively.

If the kiwi extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.04 against the aussie, 0.69 against the greenback, 83.00 against the yen and 1.61 against the euro.
