Portugal’s consumer confidence improved for a second straight month to its highest level in four months, data from Statistics Portugal showed Friday.

The consumer confidence indicator rose to -11.3 from -12.6 in January. The latest reading was the strongest since -11.2 in October.

The improvement was due to positive contribution of all components, perspectives on the evolution of the household’s financial situation, the country’s economic situation, the savings and unemployment, the agency said.

The overall economic sentiment climbed to 0.7 in February from 0.6 in January.
