The pound retreated against most major rivals in European morning deals on Monday.
The pound eased to 1.4942 against the franc, 1.5170 versus the dollar and 0.7226 against the euro, from its early highs of 1.4979 and 1.5230, and a session’s high of 0.7207, respectively.
The pound is likely to challenge support around 1.50 against the greenback, 0.74 against the euro and 1.48 against the franc.
