Prime Minister David Cameron defended the agreement UK authorities sealed with Google over tax, saying the past Labour government should have settled the collectibles.

During Prime Minister’s Questions, the British premier was grilled about the amount of tax paid by the firm as it realized billions of pounds of sales in the country.

In 2005, Google agreed to pay £130 million of tax to HM Revenue and Customs, indicating it was the full tax they owe to the country.

But European MPs said the agreement was a bad one, with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said the deal was tantamount to a 3% tax rate.
