Entities that seek to acquire Yahoo Inc. has two weeks to submit initial offers for the company’s Asian assets and Web business.
People privy to the matter said Yahoo advisers told them to present proposals for their bids, including the assets they desire to purchase and the buying price. One of the sources added the firm set an April 11 deadline for the offers.
Yahoo also asked all prospective buyers about how they would fund the acquisition, the major presumptions to be made to reach a deal, and the approvals or conditions to be fulfilled.
Microsoft Corp. has held talks with private equity companies about assistance in financing a buyout.
