The Swiss franc weakened against most major currencies in the European session on Friday.
The Swiss franc fell to nearly a 1-1/2-month low of 0.9843 against the U.S. dollar and a 2-day low of 1.4983 against the pound, from early highs of 0.9741 and 1.4832, respectively.
Against the euro, the franc edged down to 1.0949 from an early high of 1.0917.
If the Swiss franc extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 0.99 against the greenback, 1.52 against the pound and 1.10 against the euro.
