The consensus for May non-farm payrolls at the moment is 163K following the 160K reading in April.
That’s based on 22 estimates with a range of 250K to 120K. At the low end of that range is Capital Economics and they say temporary factors including a strike by 39,000 Verizon workers will weigh.
