That’s the last of the main housing indicators before the June FOMC so have things progressed since the April FOMC?
A pretty good month all told. March looks like a blip for starts, permits and new sales. The new home sales look particularly strong. We’re still a long way from returning to pre-crisis levels but the trend in housing has been just as solid as the trend in jobs. The Fed can’t pick any bones out of this sector.
