The dollar lost ground to most major currencies on Friday, as Wall Street and yields moved lower. Some of the greenback’s overnight gains were unwound into the weekend, ahead of what could be a tumultuous Monday with regards to Greece. The ECB upped liquidity to Greek banks on Friday, following a week of huge deposit withdrawals. This helped the euro to a degree, taking EUR-USD to highs over 1.1360 from lows under 1.1300 at the open. USD-JPY gave back the 123 level, basing at 122.56, as USD-CAD was supported by softer Canadian retail sales, and lower oil prices.
