The Japanese yen climbed against most major rivals in Europe on Thursday.

The yen edged up to 82.41 against the kiwi and 178.26 against pound, reversing from its early lows of 82.67 and 178.71, respectively.

The yen spiked up to near a 2-week high of 131.22 against the euro, while approaching 121.15 against the franc, its highest since December 3.

On the upside, the yen is likely to find resistance around 130.00 against the euro, 120.00 against the franc, 175.00 against the pound and 82.00 against the kiwi.
