The Australian dollar came off from its early highs against the other major currencies in early European deals on Thursday.
The aussie retreated to 0.9644 against the loonie, 96.15 against the yen and 0.8067 against the greenback, off early 2-week high of 0.9746, near 4-month highs of 97.28 and 0.8162, respectively.
The aussie, which rose to a 2-week high of 1.3911 against the euro in early deals, eased to 1.4126.
The aussie edged down to 1.0763 against the kiwi, edging closer to pierce early 3-day low of 1.0725. This may be compared to an early high of 1.0840.
