U.S. president Barrack Obama’s clout over UK’s public opinion with regard to referendum seems to be fading. As Obama, urged the people of U.S.’s best friend UK, to vote to stay in European Union, since it amplifies UK’s role in the world, polls signaled a shift in sentiment. Gap between stay and exit backers widened 7% in favor of staying within EU. Recently Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe made a plea, urging voters to stay but polls show the stay aura is fading once more and pointing to a very tight race.

Since there are number of polls running, we are preferring average of them.

In four polls conducted last week, one shows both camp tied, one shows exit camp with three points lead, one shows stay camp with 1 point lead and last one shows exit camp with one point lead. On an average stay camp is with 3% lead, while 11% of the population still undecided.

So, with just 44 days remaining to the referendum, it is still anybody’s guess, which side may prevail in the poll.

Pound is currently trading at 1.443 against Dollar.
