Donald The Big Winner In CNBC Debate, Jeb The Biggest Loser

Donald Trump was the big winner of the 3rd Republican presidential debate by a wide margin over Dr. Ben Carson, a new poll shows.

Dr, Ben Carson was also topped by Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas in the survey conducted following the Wednesday night GOP show on CNBC.

The results, as follows:

  1. Trump: 46%
  2. Cruz: 20%
  3. Carson: 16%
  4. Sen. Marco Rubio: 10%.
  5. Sen. Rand Paul, Carly Fiorina, New Jersey Gov. Christie & Ohio Gov. John Kasich tied with less than 2%
  6. Mike Huckabee: Less than 1%
  7. Jeb Bush: 0.31%

Dr. Carson’s relegation to 3rd place came after he had soared to # 1 in recent polls, displacing front-runner Donald Trump, who led the field for months.

The poll’s jaw-dropper is undoubtedly the stunning collapse of support for Jeb Bush, who was once thought to be the GOP’s top candidate for the Y 2016 presidential race. He registered .31% in the poll, by far the lowest of any candidate.

Jeb Bush’s numbers have faded away over the past few months, so much so that he has had to make severe cuts in campaign staffing and other expenditures. Jeb’s campaign had just $10.3-M going into October after raising $119-M in 1-H.
