Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump holds double-digit leads over Dr. Ben Carson in South Carolina and Nevada, and voters in both states said that Mr. Trump was best able to address a wide range of issues, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.

Donald Trump: 36%
Ben Carson: 18%
Marco Rubio: 9%
Carly Fiorina: 7%
Jeb Bush: 6%
Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz: 5%
Rand Paul: 4%
Mike Huckabee: 3%
Chris Christie: 2%
All others: 1%t or less
4% had no opinion of the candidates, while 1% said they would not vote for any of the contenders.
In Nevada:
Trump: 38%
Carson: 22%
Fiorina: 8%
Rubio: 7%
Bush: 6%
Cruz and Huckabee: 4%
Rand Paul: 2%
All others: 1% or less
3% had no opinion of any of the candidates, while another 3% said that they would not vote for any of them.
South Carolina will hold its Republican primary on 20 February, Nevada’s caucuses are scheduled for 23 February, They are 3rd and 4th, respectively, on the primary schedule.
In Nevada, 1,011 adults were surveyed in the CNN/ORC poll between 3 -10 October, with a margin of error of 3% + or -.
The South Carolina poll involved 1,009 adults who were questioned during the same frame, with a similar margin of error.
