After the release of German factory orders data for September at 2:00 am ET Thursday, the euro slipped further against the other major currencies.
The euro was trading at 1.0860 against the greenback, 0.7059 against the pound, 131.94 against the yen and 1.0801 against the franc around 2:01 am ET.
