The euro drifted lower against most major currencies in pre-European deals on Thursday.
The euro fell to a 3-1/2-month low of 1.0841 against the greenback, while touching 0.7045 versus the pound, its lowest since August 19.
The euro pared gains to 1.5181 against the aussie, 1.6434 against the kiwi and 1.4271 against the loonie, from its prior highs of 1.5245, 1.6504 and 1.4318,respectively.
The euro edged down to 131.86 against the yen, reversing from a high of 132.15 hit at 10:45 pm ET.
The next likely support for the euro may be located around 130.00 against the yen, 1.06 against the greenback, 0.69 against the pound, 1.50 against the aussie, 1.62 against the kiwi and 1.40 against the loonie.
